For the 1st time, the Judge made special mention at the 2008 Sieger’ Show, of the 16 German Shepherd Dogs that performed best in the test of bravery – dogs who answered best to the threat presented by the ‘assailant’ with many marked eagerness and strongest proof of protecting instinct.

Across the history of the German Shepherd breed, these dogs have served as devoted, steadfast companions and servants for humans. As you read this document on your personal computer screen, thousands of brave German Shepherds the world around are on duty as watchdogs, police dogs, search-and-rescue dogs, bomb dogs, drug dogs, sheepherders or army dogs. No other breed works harder than the German Shepherd. Sadly , the German Shepherd breed has been known to be affected by allergies that manifest themselves in skin conditions. It's the best test which has been invented so far, nonetheless it is in no fashion a totally trusty test.
